Saleable’s Principal, Philip Whittaker has accumulated a wealth of experience over the last 17 years as a leader in the Australian marketing, sponsorship and licensing industry. Over this time Philip has been responsible for managing many successful marketing campaigns and secured over $50 million dollars in sponsorship and licensing revenues.  His areas of expertise include commercial and sponsorship strategy, sponsorship sales, brand licensing, marketing strategy and brand management.

Philip has worked on some of the largest sports, arts , leisure and entertainment properties in the country, managing a diverse range of successful marketing, sponsorship and licensing campaigns.  Properties have included the 2001 Goodwill Games, Queensland State of Origin Team, Brisbane Festival, Surf Lifesaving Australia, Brisbane City Council, Melbourne Recital Centre, Sanctuary Cove, V8 Supercars, Tourism Queensland and Hawthorn AFL Clubs.

Philip is the immediate past National President, Queensland Chair and a national board member  of Sponsorship Australasia Association and an editorial board member of the International Journal of Sponsorship.  Philip holds Bachelors and Masters’ degrees in Business and Marketing and is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practising Marketer.

 

Lachlan McMillan - Account Executive

Lachlan has developed a broad range of experience across sponsorship, marketing and event management disciplines.  He has previouslyworked for Queensland Rugby Union for three years in a sales and sponsorship role where he was responsible for the delivery of the corporate hospitality  program, managing sponsorship partners and securing new sponsors.  During this time he worked with such brands as Energy Australia, Konica Minolta, Bartercard and Fitness First.  Prior to this he held event management roles at the Lexmark Indy 300 and USM Events.

Over time, Lachlan has built up a strong corporate network through his friendly and personable approach and has a real talent for establishing strong long term relationships.  He is very passionate about working in the sponsorship industry and is continually exploring new and innovative ways of aligning rights holders and brands. Lachlan also holds a Bachelor of Business (International Business) degree from Queensland University of Technology.
